The Houston 8-Ball League is a
BCA Pool League
sanctioned league.
General Information:
Mixed Teams Division:
Location: Slick Willie's Family Pool Hall, at 12867 Westheimer, Houston, Texas.
League Night: Tuesday, beginning at 8:00 p.m.
Format: Five-member team. Handicap system. 25 games match. Most points win.
League Dues: $12.00 each week. No league membership fee.
BCA Pool League sanction Fee $15.00 each year. This Sanction is good for the all Texas BCA Pool League.
Length of Season: 18 to 30 weeks. Two seasons each year.
Awards: Summer(MONEY) Season, CASH to every team. Amount depends on the number of weeks played in the season and number of teams. All money put into the prize fund are distributed back to the players. Winter(TRIP) Season, FREE TRIP for top teams to represent our league to play the BCA Pool League North American 8-Ball Championship held each year around May.
Straight Pool Division:
Location: Slick Willie's Family Pool Hall, at 12867 Westheimer, Houston, Texas.
League Night: Monday, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Format: Handicap system.
League Dues: $10.00 each week. No league membership fee.
BCA Pool League sanction Fee $15.00 each year. This Sanction is good for the all Texas BCA Pool League.
Length of Season:16 to 30 weeks. Two seasons each year.
Awards: Summer & Fall Seasons, CASH prize to every player. Amount depends on the number of weeks played in the season and number of players. All money put into the prize fund are distributed back to the players. You can 8 weeks in this division to qualify for the BCA Pool League North American 8-Ball Championship held each year around May.Scotch Doubles Division: (presently "off" this season)
